{Blog post: Interactive session at Besant Women’s College, Mangaluru.}
So, it was a very bright day and I had just landed Mangaluru from Chennai.
As decided in advance it was time for me to head to my college which added up to my growing years.
Nostalgic it was!
Riding towards my college I recalled every street that witnessed my teenage.
Stalls that yelled at how stupid I was to pack every little thing that savoured my uncontrollable taste buds. Hangout spots that blissfully brightened my girl gang memories of togetherness, laughter, misunderstandings and much more. Now when I look back I only see their smiling face and the way they used to call me.
“Sushie....” “Sushieee” was one of my favourite things to hear all day. My full name seemed so dull during those days. From canvassing for elections to celebrating Victor we were all so close and tied together.
Gossiping about boyfriends and shooting the lamest jokes were still trending back then! Gosh! I miss the VSMRTS gang now!
I was almost going to forget that I had to stop before I enter the campus to provide my details which reminded me that “girl, you are no more in uniform, so you better pause your daydream and get in”.
Parked my vehicle and got into the college.
The campus reminded me of our surprise Holi DJ party that was one of the lit events at that time.
As I entered I was greeted so amazingly well by my teachers that which assured me some amount of respect that I managed to keep in my pocket despite a few silly pranks! Lol
All is well!
It was time to meet my super awesome lecturers who were the greatest source of inspiration and support. And even now they remember most of the things that reminded them of me.
It was Dr Anuradha who arranged for an interactive session with one batch of students.
And I went inside the classroom with all the zeal and josh!
The class was quite excited about who would be the so-called “super senior” and then I happened lol!
It was a very cool interactive session which gave me a sense of responsibility as a person with quality and assurance. That’s when I realised I could stand as a person that mattered.
Of course, we clicked pictures and girls were equally excited about the social media connections that we would have later on.
They were beautiful faces with dreamy eyes and ambition in mind. Their constant curiosity assured me of their bright future. They did ask me a lot of enjoyable questions and we ended it beautifully together.
These bunch of talented girls remind me of,
‘Women with quality, under progress’.
That’s how I shared a part of my life’s sweetest time with young minds reassuring to make a difference in the world. Being born as a girl is itself an evidence of power. A power that is elegantly beautiful and reassuring.
Okay! now if anyone of the students in the picture below, is reading this, let me tell you,

You are growing to be an impacting personality and more power to you.
Sushie Ma’am loves you
Loads and loads of love and affection
(Thanks for your love and support dearest readers)
